Rotherham Extra Time Hub Launch Event

Rotherham Extra Time Hub Launch Event to all your networks/participants/groups, is taking place next Friday (17th March), 11am-2pm at The New York Stadium.

You may or may not know, the Rotherham Extra Time Hub is a new initiative we’re proposing here at Rotherham United Community Sports Trust, working in close partnership with many fantastic local organisations. The main aim is to bring people in their retirement (or semi-retirement) years together to socialise and do things they enjoy, promoting social interaction and relationships. Our vision is to hold weekly coffee mornings at the New York Stadium, at which partners will be able to come together, share resources and signpost to other activities across Rotherham.

The launch next Friday is a FREE public event, offering local organisations a chance to showcase what you they can offer to older people in Rotherham. It is also a great opportunity to learn more about the other organisations involved, network and improve signposting and partnership links across the borough.

As it stands, here’s a list of organisations that have confirmed they will be attending next week:

  • Lost Chord
  • Rotherham Cancer Care
